Valley Processing wants our customers to have complete confidence in the products they consume.
So, we work in conjunction with various agencies, which help ensure our customers that our juices
are of outstanding quality and that they meet very stringent conditions. We are proud to have received Kosher, Organic, and American Institute of Baking certifications.

ORGANIC

Valley Processing is proud to work with our growers to offer consumers a choice of organic products. Valley Processing is a certified organic processor within Washington State. That means the Washington State Department of Agriculture inspects and guarantees that certain Valley Processing products are free from pesticides.

The WSDA Organic Food Program protects consumers and supports the organic food industry by ensuring the integrity of organic food
products through establishing organic standards and certifying
organic producers, processors, and handlers. For more information
on this certification, go to www.wa.gov/agr/fsah/organic/ofp.htm

KOSHER

Valley Processing's products are ok in the eyes of the Orthodox Union. All of our products carry the ou (capital U with a circle around it) symbol, which kosher customers have come to equate with elite kashrus standards.

Under these standards, foods that contain neither meat nor dairy ingredients are termed "parve," which indicates a neutral state. All fruits, grains, and vegetables in their natural state are kosher and parve. Since Valley Processing adds no additional ingredients its fruit and uses approved equipment, all of our juices and concentrates are certified kosher. For more information on this certification, go to www.ou.org.

AMERICAN INSTITUTE OF BAKING

Valley Processing has received the certificate of achievement from the American Institute of Baking for their compliance with food safety requirements. That means that the Department of Food Safety/Hygiene inspects Valley Processing's plants to ensure the proper hygiene and safety requirements are practiced.

The food safety audit is conducted by a professionally trained staff of food safety auditors. Food processors who participate in the in-plant audit program receive a complete examination and technical assistance in all areas that affect product integrity, regulatory exposure and pesticide use. Personnel training is vital to the success of any program and AIB has provided more than 50 years of quality service. For more information on this certification, go to www.aibinternational.com.
